Harrow Council: New website, new failure

Barely had the Council’s new web site been launched, then it decided to crash if you should try to use the search function. Launched with much aplomb, and, we’d image, cakes in the Council’s in-house web team’s office earlier today, it looks as if this could end up being yet another ill-thought out attempt at …

Harrow Independent Labour Wiped off the Map by Harrow Council

Today marks the launch of Harrow Council’s new website, and, if you were to believe it, according to the Local Councillors page, Independent Labour no longer exist. I have just had a meeting with Herbie Crossman and he has arranged for the Harrow Press …

His mission was simple – abseil the 100 foot drop from the top of the church tower at St Albans Church, The Ridgeway, North Harrow, reach the ground unharmed and in the process start the fund raising for the Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Nana Asante’s chosen charities. We can report, and the pictures prove it, …

Library Visits Plummet in Harrow

Library visits across Harrow’s libraries have dropped by  just over 10% across the last two years, if figures released by Harrow Council are accurate. In 2010-11, 133,000 visits were recorded across the borough 11 libraries, which has dropped to just 119,000 two years later. Likewise, the number of residents signing up to join the library …
