All About… Harrow Women’s Centre

harrow_womens_centreThe Harrow Women’s Centre is a registered charity, limited company and not for profit organisation. It was founded 20 years ago in recognition of the need for a safe women only space in which to offer services that could support and empower Harrow women in need, hardship and distress to reach their full potential. We continue to provide this supportive environment in which to promote equality of opportunity, tackle injustice, disadvantage, isolation and impoverty, whilst improving health, mental health and well being of local women.

The HWC exists to support all women in the local community of Harrow, regardless of age, race, religious belief, marital status or sexual orientation, offering a broad range of services and a holistic approach.

The Harrow Women’s Centre is pleased to offer free advice sessions between 10am and 2pm on Monday’s, WEDNESDAY’S AND Friday’s.

Our qualified ADVISOR will provide impartial, non-judgemental advice and support on the following:

  • Benefit issues
  • Children’s issues
  • Divorce / civil partnership dissolution
  • Domestic violence (assistance with d.i.y orders)
  • Family / relationship breakdown
  • Housing issues
  • Financial and debt crisis
  • Homelessness

    As a volunteer with THE HARROW WOMEN’S CENTRE from the day it started operating 21 years ago, I hope that by the number of votes we receive it will prove, that all the volunteers, centre users and supporters who vote, will prove the vital
    and necessary various services offered at the HARROW WOMEN’S CENTRE are needed and appreciated.
