Bob Blackman MP welcomes Justine Greening to the Avanti House School

bob_blackmanMP for Harrow East, Bob Blackman, was pleased to welcome Justine Greening, the Secretary of State for International Development, to the newly opened Avanti House School in Stanmore.

Justine was also pleased to meet with the Avanti Schools Trust team, including the Chairman, John Simpson, the CEO, Nitesh Gor, and Gareth Jones, Principal of Avanti House to discuss their work and the continuing success of the school network. During her visit, she met with Year 7 and Year 8 pupils, as well as the Heads of Year, to get a closer perspective on the backgrounds of the pupils attending and the education on offer at the school.

Bob Blackman said: “The Avanti House School is an excellent example of the popularity of schools with an ethos of attaining high standards of educational excellence and spiritual insight and I have been pleased to work with them over the last few years as they have expanded.”

    Bob Blackman supporting something that increases traffic and parking in Stanmore? So what’s his problem with Marylin Ashton’s wonderful Anmer Lodge idea then?
