Accessible Transport in Harrow – Short Survey

harrow_council_logoHarrow Scrutiny councillors are undertaking a review into Accessible Transport. The review looks at how access or a lack of access to public transport impacts on residents with disabilities and others with restricted mobility. Your views will be used to inform their recommendations on how getting around the Borough might be improved. The councillors are from both the main political parties and whilst the scrutiny members won’t be able to make decisions they will make recommendations to Cabinet.

The aims of review are to:

  • Identify the impact of public transport on the life opportunities of people with disabilities or with restricted mobility, as well as other residents in Harrow
  • Identify transport developments in Harrow that would enhance the life experience for people with disabilities or restricted mobility – several options could be identified but cost may determine the priority
  • Support the council’s lobbying position with Transport for London
  • Support the development of the town centre

The better the councillors are able to understand the issues you face, the better the report and recommendations will be, so please participate in this short consultation.

You can access the Survey here. It closes on May 31, 2013.
