Extra study space for Harrow students

harrow_council_logo2Some excellent news on an initiative from Harrow Council to help students who are approaching their exams across the borough.

Exam time is just around the corner, and Harrow Council is arranging for extra study spaces to be available for those who will be revising during the exam period. The extra spaces for students will be available in Byron Hall at Harrow Leisure Centre and will be opened in addition to the workspace already provided in the libraries throughout the borough.

Extra space for students will be available in Byron Hall at Harrow Leisure Centre on the following dates:

  • 15th and 16th May 2013, 10am – 5pm
  • 22nd and 23rd May 2013, 10am – 5pm
  • 30th and 31st May 2013, 10am – 5pm

Councillor Thaya Idaikkadar, Leader of Harrow Council, said: “I understand that the exam period can be a stressful time for our young people, but by providing extra study spaces for them, we can take a little bit of that stress and worry away by guaranteeing them a quiet comfortable space to revise in. I would like to wish all of our pupils good luck for their exams.”
