harrow_council_logo2Get your taste buds tingling and Come along and enjoy Harrow’s four day Festival of Food at the town centre from 24th to 27th October giving shoppers and residents a taste of international delights.

Residents and shoppers can expect to experience the true taste and origins of some of the world’s most mouth-watering flavours. Some of the treats on offer include French Crepes, vegan bakery, Italian biscuits as well as Spanish, Japanese and Punjabi street food.

Cabinet member for Business and Enterprise, Cllr Kamaljit Chana said: “This is one of the many fantastic initiatives to help with the revitalisation of the town centre which is important for Harrow and I encourage everyone to come along. If you love great food, it is a chance for you to buy and sample fresh produce from various parts of the world. We are already working on making the town centre a clean and bustling environment where shoppers and residents can enjoy their visits, with the regeneration projects in St Ann’s Road and Lowland’s Recreation Ground making a real difference.”

The four day food market will be held between Katie’s Statue and Havelock place. It is supported by the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, which is helping improve the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London.
