Harrow Supports Small Business Saturday – December 7, 2013

harrow_council_logoSmall Business Saturday UK (7th December 2013 is a national campaign to highlight small business success and encourage consumers to shop locally and support small businesses in their community.

Harrow Council is working with the Federation of Small Business (FSB) to promote this.

How can you get involved & what help is available? All you need to do is promote the day by getting the message out to as many of your fellow business owners and customers as possible. There are lots of suggestions and some great ideas to support you in the campaign, some of which can be found by visiting the link www.harrow.gov.uk/smallbusinesssaturday.

Go the Small Business Saturday official website to sign up for a free pack of promotional material which includes posters, badges and stands which you can use on the day itself.

This initiative is a way of helping to promote ‘Keeping Trade Local’ and boost the trade of small businesses. At the same time recognising this is not just about retail, there are many service, manufacturing, supply and creative businesses which will benefit through everyone trying to buy locally on the 7th and beyond!
