Harrow Wins Hounslow Council Law Contract; Adds Staff

harrow_council_logoHB Public Law, the legal arm of Harrow Council, has won a contract with Hounslow Council to supply legal services, much like it does to Barnet. The deal will see nine Hounslow staff transfer into HBPL, or, as Hounslow say, “Our staff would be integrated into the HBPL practice from the start, but for the early months would be primarily engaged on Hounslow’s legal work. Any extra capacity we required, or in the absence of one of our former lawyers, one of the other members of the appropriate specialist team would provide advice. Within 9-12 months of transfer we can expect a greater amount of our work to be done by a wider range of lawyers.”

Once implemented this will result in HB Public Law increasing in size by almost 50%, and discharging the legal function of a third London Borough.
