Harrow’s Christmas Market comes to town

Christmas-Markets-150x150The festive season is upon us, and to celebrate, Harrow Town Centre is hosting a four day Christmas market from Thursday 28th November to Sunday 1st December.

The market in St Ann’s Road will host a range of treats and is a perfect opportunity to buy unique presents and treats for Christmas with stalls specialising in fashion wear, toys and gifts.

Food fanatics can also enjoy international delights and taste cuisines from Italy, Japan, Mexico and India. Also on offer are marshmallows and melted chocolate, gingerbread, Belgian chocolates and much more.

The Harrow Christmas market is organised by Harrow Council in partnership with Amber Markets and Events Company. It is supported by the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, which is helping improve the vibrancy and growth of high streets across London. Last year thousands of people flocked to 30 stalls at the market.

Cabinet member for Business and Enterprise, Cllr Kamaljit Chana, said: “It is great to see the Christmas market in Harrow again and I hope it gets shoppers into the festive mood.

“Supporting the town centre and helping local businesses to thrive is a priority for the council and we will keep working with traders to offer different shopping experiences in the town.”

The Christmas market will be open from 9am to 6pm Thursday to Saturday and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
