Harrow’s K Festival gets the green light

Make a date for July 16, 2011, as Harrow’s K Festival – the well-known charity festival, with it’s array of music, food, fun and sport – has just received it’s event licence, after no objections were received.

“We’re over the moon. We want to attract a cross section of the community and we hope and are confident that by providing what we’re providing, we will be able to do that.” – Michelle Gascoine, Event Organiser

The K Festival runs from 11am thru’ 8pm at Zoom Leisure in Headstone Lane. All proceeds go to charity.

Set in the heart of the Harrow & Pinner community, K Festival offers a refreshing alternative to the huge corporate festivals that now dominate the summer. K Festival will provide an exciting variety of activities for all ages to enjoy, and has specifically been tailored to ensure we are the most family friendly festival around.

Featuring a diverse range of music and arts and providing locally produced food, we aim to support emerging talent from the local area and across the country. Within the Festival Food Court, the famous Hog Roast will be serving you the finest pork based delicacies; sample the diverse variety of Asian cuisine, select a healthy option from the baguette bar or enjoy a refreshing smoothie. On offer will be a host of other carefully selected art, craft and branded fashion wear stalls to explore at your leisure.
