Husain Speaks: Blah Blah Blah on Conservatives Abandoning ILG

husain_akhtar1Local funny man, Cllr Husain Akhtar, was the first to leap onto the bandwagon in the comments section of the Harrow Times slating Harrow’s Conservative Group for wanting to call for a new leader of the Council. No surprise there, then. He’s never been much of a fan of Cllr Susan Hall, so this wasn’t unexpected.

So what’s funny? His opening line of “It is very concerning that Harrow residents voted Labour to run the Council but first finished up with virtual Tory administration through the back door…” raised an eyebrow.

It’s amusing. This is the same Cllr Husain Akhtar who has joined just about ever political party there is in Harrow (excluding the UKIP: although it’s unclear whether or not he tried to join, it seems that they wouldn’t have him anyway).

Surely Canons’ residents are also confused by Husain’s blathering. Didn’t  they vote for a Conservative candidate and end up with gawd knows who representing them?

Husain. The gift that keeps on giving.
