Independents’ Day – July 4, 2014

independents_day_2014Independents’ Day is a national campaign that promotes and celebrates independent businesses across the UK.

Now in its fourth year, the campaign has quickly become the voice of independent retailers to reach the local community, giving businesses a chance to be heard and get on people’s radar. Independents’ Day is organised by People 1st. The People 1st web site provides comprehensive information on the proposals. http://www.people1st.co.uk/independents-day-2014.

This year, the campaign also aims to raise awareness of the vast amount of support that is available to independent businesses to help them train their employees, become more competitive and grow. This includes:

  • WorldHost customer service training
  • Digital High Street Skills training programme
