Harrow E-Car Club – Q&A and Focus Group Session – March 20, 2012

A couple of weeks ago, we posted an article about a possible pilot or trial of electric cars in Harrow, and how the borough was one seven areas that the trial could be taking place within, depending on the level of interest being shown in each of those localities.

There is a focus group, Q&Q or ‘engagement’ session – basically, a place where you can turn up and find out more about the project – in Harrow shortly, being run by Harrow Agenda 21 to answer questions, seek ideas from the community, and generally to rally the troops in support of the plan:

  • When: March 20, 2012 – 7.00pm
  • Where: Committee Room 5, Harrow Civic Centre

As Harrow Agenda 21 say, “This is where keen movers could really help shape how it would work.”  The more community input and support it gets, the more chance we have of being chosen to bring the E-Car Club to Harrow sooner rather than later.

Firstly, though, we need at least 100 people to complete the online questionnaire at http://www.e-carclub.org/ by answering a few questions about their basic driving needs and habits in Harrow. A paper version is available from me if required (contact details below).

If you can spare some time on March 20, just turn up from 7.00pm to learn more about the project. No reservation needed.
