Harrow Primary School admissions for 2012/13

If you haven’t yet arranged a school place for your child in harrow, now is the time to do so.  Parents of children born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 need to read the detail below and take action if they haven’t already done so.

You can make a primary school application (also known as a common application form, ‘CAF’) in one of two ways:

  • Submit the common application form:
For children starting in reception class in September 2012, Harrow will co-ordinate the admissions process. Harrow residents must fill in the common application form regardless of whether they are applying for a community, Catholic, Church of England, Hindu, or Jewish school, and/or any other state school in another borough or county.  This form can be found in the ‘Guide to primary schools booklet, 2012/13’ which is available at the Civic Centre or Harrow’s primary schools.Non Harrow residents must contact their own council their own council for their application form.

Do not submit more than one application – whether paper-based or online. If you submit more than one application we will use only the most recent one.

Faith schools:
If you’re applying for a faith school, in addition to the CAF you will need to fill in a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) and return it directly to the school before the closing date. For further information about SIFs please visit the faith school pages.

Closing date:
The closing date for all primary school applications is Sunday 15 January 2012. All applications received after the closing date will be classed as a late application and will not be considered untill all on-time applications have been dealt with.

When will I hear what school I have been offered?
Letters with results will be posted first class to all applicants on 18 April 2012. If you applied online you will be sent an email during the evening of Wednesday 18th April with the outcome of your application. You will need to wait until you have received this email before logging onto the pan-London E-admissions website. You’ll need your username and password which you’ll have created when you made your application.
