Je suis Harrow – ‘i am Harrow’ goes to France

The ‘i am Harrow’ photography exhibition is a unique look at one of Londonʼs most diverse boroughs.

Harrow Council photographer Dermot Carlin has put together a collection of portraits and short stories about the most interesting people he meets in his job. The subjects include an Auschwitz survivor and a former gang member who has turned his back on crime and, with the help of the councilʼs Youth Offending Team, has become a volunteer youth worker.

The exhibition is a celebration of the people who live in Harrow.

Dermot has been asked to exhibit his photography exhibition in Harrow’s twin town Douai France. The invitation has come from the Photographic Society of Douai, the exhibition will run for a week in Douai’s Town Hall .

i am Harrow will be in Harrow’s twin town Douai from July 6th.
