North Harrow’s Newest 24hr Gym – Decision Due Soon

North Harrow’s newest 24hr gym may be one step closer towards opening shortly, if Harrow Council’s Planning Committee pass the proposed plans at it’s meeting on Thursday 27 September, 2012.

The Gym Group have a reputation for providing low-cost, no-contract, 24hr gyms, with charges starting as low as £10.99 per month. Leaving out the saunas, steam rooms and spa baths of other gyms allows them to focus on what the typical gym goer wants: lots of machines, clean and bright environment, no queues.

There are a handful of objections to the development going ahead, mainly related to the fact that it’ll be a 24hr operation with no car park of it’s own. Also, above the proposed gym is residential areas, and those residents clearly don’t want to be disturbed all night.

The submitted plans show 737 square metres of gym space, plus a mezzanine area of 223 square metres, with, of course, changing rooms, showers and toilets.
