Orley Farm School – revamp plan rejected by Harrow

The Harrow Observer has an interesting piece today about Orley Farm School’s recent planning application, and subsequent rejection by Harrow Council.

The plan called for £10 million of investment for some extensive buildings and grounds improvements, better disabled access and a new footpath along South Hill Avenue.

The plan was rejected due to Harrow Council’s concern that it would increase the school’s capacity over and above it’s agreed numbers, and that it may become detrimental to the area.
