The Chocolate Room arrives in Harrow

chocolate_roomNot everyone needs a reason to eat chocolate. But for those who do need an excuse to indulge in one of life’s guilty pleasures look no further than Harrow Town Centre.

The chocolate room was founded in Australia where it has ten stores and has expanded since its inception to 40 outlets throughout India and one in Canada. The Chocolate room at 324 Station Road, is a place where shoppers can meet and relax in a plush, comfortable environment. Customers can treat themselves to over 20 flavours of Italian hot chocolate, 23 flavours of mochaccino, chocolate fondues, chocolate melting pots, chocolate cakes, waffles with fresh strawberries and hot chocolate sauce, and the company speciality – handmade chocolate from the multi-award winning chocolatier, Cacao.

Director of the UK franchise, Jaydip Patel, chose Harrow for the company’s first UK franchise. The 29-year-old from Croydon credits Harrow Council’s economic development team for the borough’s strong local economy.

Jaydip said: “We searched London far and wide for a suitable location for the first of our UK franchises but decided on Harrow because the local economy is clearly doing very well. Harrow Council has worked so hard to ensure vacancy rates and shopper numbers are better than almost everywhere else and as a business – this is obviously very appealing.
