Toothy tips for Harrow families

harrow_council_logo2Children will have brighter, whiter smiles thanks to a series of dental health sessions at Harrow’s Children’s Centres.

The Stay and Play sessions will include vital tips on good oral health and dental care, including how to encourage children to carry out the important task of brushing their teeth every day. Staff will also be on hand to give advice on how to register with a dentist, as well as other handy information about how to keep your teeth in tip-top shape.

The sessions are one of many informative workshops held at the boroughs 16 children’s centres, which helps babies, toddlers and young children to get the best possible start in life with a range of activities and advice services.

Harrow Council Portfolio Holder for Children, Schools and Families Cllr Mitzi Green said: “These important sessions are just one of the ways our Children’s Centres are improving the lives and outcomes for children in the borough. Going to your local children’s centre is about more than childcare, it’s a place to get support for the whole family as well as enjoyment and achievement.”
