Chorleywood LitFest: John Sucet – November 18, 2012

Sunday 18th November – 7.30pm

John Suchet at the Chorleywood Literary Festival

Beethoven may have been one of the greatest artists who ever lived but he was still a man who had to live among fellow mortals, eat and drink, fall in love, pay his rent. His life’s dramas, conflicts, loves and losses, his epic struggle with his sister-in-law for sole custody of her son, his nephew is played out in his music. John Suchet, newscaster and well-loved presenter of Classic FM’s flagship morning programme is also a renowned expert on Beethoven. In this, his first full length biography, and with the aid of excerpts of his works, John brings Beethoven to life in his usual riveting and effortless style. After his talk and answering questions from the audience John will be signing his book.
