Chorleywood LitFest: Nick Robinson – November 16, 2012

Friday 16th November – 7.30pm

Nick Robinson at the Chorleywood Literary Festival

Nick Robinson, the BBC’s Chief Political Editor is a familiar figure standing outside ‘No. 10’ to tell us what has happened that day. Our perception of politics and politicians is shaped by the media. At a time of unprecedented scrutiny of journalistic practices, Nick, with his unique perspective tells the inside story of the ‘troubled marriage’ which has led politicians and broadcasters to live together, rarely in harmony and the power struggles which have ensued. He reveals how the key players, past and present, handled the portrayal of their role in the public eye with varying degrees of success. And he looks ahead to how this relationship will develop in the digital world. If you’ve ever wondered who is manipulating who this is your chance to find out the truth. This is one not to be missed! After his talk and answering questions from the audience Nick will be signing his book.
