Guided ride from Harrow to FreeCycle – August 9, 2014

cyclingGuided ride from Harrow to FreeCycle in Central London on 9 August 2014

Harrow on the Hill Station, Lowlands Road Entrance, Harrow, HA1 1BB
9.30am on Saturday 9 August 2014
This is a guided ride to central London for the Prudential RideLondon ‘FreeCycle’ event. FreeCycle is a 10 mile route in Central London along roads closed to motor traffic, suitable for all abilities, as part of London’s cycling festival. We will encounter some motor traffic on the guided ride because the route will not be closed to traffic, but we have chosen a route mostly along minor roads and cycle paths. The 14-mile ride will be suitable for adults and older children, and will be led and marshalled by Harrow Cyclists, a borough group of the London Cycling Campaign (www.harrowcyclists.org.uk).

There is the option of a guided return ride at 3pm or riders can return by train from Baker Street, Aldgate or Euston.

There are guided rides to FreeCycle from most parts of London – see http://www.prudentialridelondon.co.uk/The_Events/Prudential_RideLondon_FreeCycle/Rider_Info/Guided_Rides.htm
