Harrow Continental Market – June 29/30, 2012

If Crepes, Cheese or Italian treats are your thing, you’ll be excited to hear about the European Market coming to Harrow. Head down to St Anns Road on Friday, 29 and Saturday, 30 June from 9.00am – 6.00pm to taste a range of delicious food from a wide range of stalls. You can register your interest as a visitor or a trader and stay up to date with news on the event here.

The market is supported by the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, which is helping to increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London. It is the latest instalment in a package of measures to support traders in the area and encourage more residents to shop locally.

Cllr Keith Ferry, portfolio holder for Planning and Regeneration on Harrow Council, said: “This latest street market is about bringing the bustle back to our Town Centre. Our previous initiatives to get trade going in Harrow Town Centre were very successful, and we want to keep the momentum going, to encourage more residents to shop local and support their town centre. It is a way of attracting more residents to the area.”
