Harrow Heritage Trust – 2012 Events

Harrow Heritage Trust’s Nature Conservation Forum have published a list of guided walks and educational events up and coming for 2012. Click on the link to go to the appropriate page on the Forum’s site for meeting and contact details.

If you’re full of energy, they also have a number of working parties around the borough: Working parties do various jobs from the major, such as felling trees to create grassland rides, to jobs as simple as cutting back bramble from paths or picking up litter. All are useful in keeping the reserves attractive to both wildlife and people. You get some gentle exercise in pleasant surroundings. Tools are provided – just bring your lunch. Most working parties finish around 4.00pm, but there is no need to stay all day.

For more information about a working party, contact the individual site warden (clink on the link for this and other details about each site including the meeting point) or contact Steve Bolsover (by email at admin@harrowncf.org or by phone at 020 8933 2823). We can provide transport to the site: just contact Steve Bolsover as above.

More details on the working parties page, here.
