Local band, Orange Groove, are performing to help raise funds for the centre, which provides information, advice and support for women in a women-only environment. Support services include: counselling and sign-posting to other women’s services. They offer support groups, classes and social events. There is also free pregnancy testing and access to specialist advice workers in the area of legal problems, domestic violence and welfare rights advocacy. A weekly older women’s group runs from the centre. Specific services provided for women are: individual and group counselling.

Orange Groove are a classic and contemporary funk/disco covers band,  describing themselves as “…a very experienced tight band comprising of four full time professional musicians, our stage show is exciting and dynamic. We can expand the band for your event, adding horns, keyboards and backing singers to cater for your needs. Every note you will hear is played live – no backing tracks!”

Harrow Womens’ Centre didn’t secure any funding from the Council this year, so desperately need support – come along for what is sure to be a great night out.
