HarrowArts: DJ Training – February 18-22, 2013

hac_djEver wanted to DJ? If you have a learning disability and you are into music, this course is for you! Over 5 days you’ll learn how to DJ, mix, scratch and MC, practice your skills with the professionals and work in a team to design your own gig.

You’ll also be able to gain a Bronze Arts Award, a Level 1 qualification, through taking part!

This course is open to young people aged 13-19 who have a learning disability.

You don’t need to prepare anything before you come. The only thing you need to bring with you is lunch, drinks and any snacks you’d like. If you’d like to, you can bring your favourite CDs to DJ with. We’ll mainly be DJing from CDs but we’ll also use records.

This project is funded by Harrow Council’s Children’s Commissioning team.

Times: 10.00am – 4.00pm

Tickets are £10 – buy tickets here.
