  • The event starts with an aerobic warm up at 10am.
  • The route will wind its way around the lake – please note that the actual distance will be 7.25km (about 4.5miles)
  • There will be one water station.
  • We expect it to take one hour to run or up to two hours to power-walk the distance.
  • There are no toilets on route but facilities are near the start and finish areas.
  • There will be no covered area at either the start or finish so please make sure you come with raincoats and buggy covers in case of rain!

  • Starts: 10am

Buggyfit trainers Ruta Markos and Claire Collins are organising the Ruislip Lido Baby Race. Find a class near you:

Ruta runs classes in Hillingdon.

Claire runs classes in Hayes and Ruislip.

‘We’re both very excited to be bringing The Baby Race to Ruislip for the first time.  It’s such a great event for the whole family – and you get a real sense of achievement having completed the 8K distance but also helped raise funds to enable other parents to have healthy babies and pregnancies.  Come and join us!’

Both Claire and Ruta will be incorporating a special training programme in their classes to help get you fit enough to run (or walk) The Baby Race.
