Ruslip Woods Festival – May 13, 2012

The annual Ruislip Woods Festival is a celebration of Woodland life past and present. There will be traditional crafts demonstrations such as the noisy Misor which makes very short work of cutting planks from whole tree trunks or the quieter and more intricate art of Love Spoon making.

John the Falconer will be back by popular demand with another breathtaking display from birds of prey in flight and there will be ferret racing and Morris Dancing.

All the groups who use the woods will be represented on the day, talking about their hobbies and sharing their passion with the audience.

The dog walkers will be joining in with a fun dog show and the afternoon will be rounded off with a tug of war.
