  • Where: Wembley, Barham Park, HA0 2HB
  • When: Thursday 17th until Tuesday 22nd May
  • Tickets: 0871 210 2100 or www.zippos.co.uk

Circus champions from Africa, Argentina, France, Japan, The Ukraine, Brazil and The United Kingdom combine with a dazzling display both in the air and on the ground for our latest show hosted as always by the “Lord of the Ring” Norman Barrett MBE. New to Zippo’s this year are the Delbosq Clowns from France, Emil and Andrea, whose hilarious, engaging and youthful approach to comedy has won them fans throughout Europe. Andrea is a rarity – a female clown- and was recently described as “priceless” by a leading UK Theatre critic.

Yasmine Smart has new routines for her Liberty and Dressage Horses that feature in a sensational new production built around pulsating drum rhythms and modern rock anthems plus the beat of the Bolas that echo the pounding of hooves in the sawdust! From Africa we welcome The Kenya Troupe of African Hip-Hop dancers, acrobats and tumblers providing a touch of Swahili Nashati (strength) in their amazing pyramid building and limbo!

From the Ukraine and to be seen for the first time anywhere Anya has a unique modern approach to juggling from within a Perspex and steel triangle and then fire is juggled as the company combine for a hot finale that welcomes back by popular demand the roaring motorbikes in The Globe of Death that ensure in its final moments Zippo’s will provide the best adrenaline rush you can get as a spectator!
