Walk Your Way to Health in Harrow

Walk Your Way to Health In Harrow is FREE and provides local residents with an opportunity to walk regularly in a relaxed and friendly environment and enjoy some beautiful green spaces. The walks are led by qualified volunteer walk leaders, who encourage you to walk at your own pace. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age and fitness level.

Walking is simple and one of the easiest ways to exercise regularly, get more active, lose weight and become healthier. It’s underrated as a form of exercise but walking is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels who want to be more active.

Regular walking has been shown to reduce the risk of chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, asthma, stroke and some cancers.

An example walk would be the South Harrow Circular, which is walked every week on Mondays: it starts at 10.30 and takes about an hour, with the start point being South Harrow Tube Station ticket hall.
