NW London Hospitals Rank Second-from-bottom for Quality

nhs_hospitalNorth-West London Hospitals NHS Trust, which runs Northwick Park, St Marks and the Central Middlesex Hospitals has ranked second-from-bottom (that’s 145th out of 146 hospitals) when measured against quality according to a new report from the MHP Health Mandate Quality Index.

MHP Health Mandate is MHP Communications’ multi-award winning specialist health policy and communications consultancy.

In fact, the trust falls into the bottom quartile (ie: the lowest 25% of hospitals) for eight out of the eleven measures used, which includes things like the risk of catching MRSA, length of time to wait for an operation, and number of complaints the hospital receives.

The full report, looking at hospitals right across the country, can be read here.
