Radio Northwick Park seeking volunteers

Your local hospital radio station needs you!

Harrow hospital radio station, Radio Northwick Park is looking for new volunteers to join its ranks. The station which broadcasts from the basement of Northwick Park Hospital will be celebrating its 40 th anniversary this year and wants to get even more members involved in its charitable work.

As a volunteer you will be visiting patients on the wards to collect song requests for the request show and helping out at fundraising events. Your work on the request show will include presenting live on air, producing content, reading news bulletins and engineering.

Volunteers will have access to training and state-of-the-art equipment to help them hone their broadcasting skills. There is also an opportunity to go on air and even have your own show!

So whether you fancy yourself as the next Chris Moyles or Lauren Laverne, or you just want to help out a good cause, join us for an induction session in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All volunteers must be over 16.

If you would like to join please contact our Volunteers Coordinator Jade Wight either by email volunteering@radionorthwickpark.org or call 07017 321 503.
