Ronald McDonald House at Northwick Park – Appeal

Ronald McDonald House at Northwick Park is an independent Local Charity that provides a ‘Home away from Home’ for families whose children are in hospital. At Northwick Park we are currently refurbishing the six rooms that we have for the families of children staying in the hospital and without the generosity of our supporters and fundraisers we would be unable to continue with our work.

There still a lot to do to maintain our houses and we would appreciate it if you were maybe able to help in other ways. We are looking for people local people to the RMHC who may be able to assist us with with embroidery for the rooms, art project for our rooms (local photographs for our walls or murals), or possibly soft furnishings (blankets, cushions). We are currently in need of the following:

  • Books or DVDs that the families & children can utilise whilst staying in the House
  • Blankets, Soft Furnishings (Cushions, Throws, Duvets, Pilows etc..) to have in our bedrooms
  • Kettles, Teapots and mugs to be used by our families in their kitchen
  • Everyday items such as Tea, Coffee, Food, Bathroom Amenities, Washing up liquid, etc,  that are always needed in our House
  • Games Consoles, TVs (for the families to watch in their rooms)

In return we offer naming and recognition opportunities throughout the houses & in our Newsletters & Social Media Sites for your support. We welcome your support and thank you. If you can help with donation of anything that a family could use, contact the House Manager, Lisa Gold on lisa.gold@uk.mcd.com.
