Debenhams in Harrow set for a refurb

After a good financial year, with sales up 4.5% and profit up by 10%, Debenhams has announced it is accelerating its store refurbishment program, which includes the store in Station Road, Harrow.

Harrow’s store will be in the first 20 to be refurbished in 2012, a list which includes Chester, Bournemouth, Luton, Colchester, Harrogate, Preston, Middlesbrough, Cheltenham, Reading, Northampton, Bedford, Hull, Carlisle, Worthing, Sutton (Surrey), Plymouth, Salisbury, Blackburn and Southend on Sea. A further 25 stores will get similar treatment in 2013.

Debenhams is open until 6.00pm most days, with late night shopping util 8.00pm on Thursdays.
