Fairdeal of London – up for sale?

We’re almost afraid to carry on looking, as it seems that the more we look, the more we find businesses up for sale. The latest one is ‘Fairdeal of London’, almost opposite South Harrow station on the Northolt Road.

I’d noticed, in recent months, that the amount of stock displayed outside the store seemed to have decreased, and in the last few weeks, it seems barely a shadow of it’s former self. According to the Alexandra park website, “…business lease for sale this double fronted general store in central South Harrow with an additional 2000 sq/ft office space above with separate entrance. Rent £52,000, business rates £12,000 per annum, lease 19 yrs remaining. ” And it can be yours for £70,000.

It seems that the niche which stores like this have enjoyed over recent years – and I’ve no idea how long Fairdeal has been around – seem to have been eroded by the families of Pound Stores.

The picture we’ve got has clearly been taken some time back, looking at the trees and the weather, so if you know more, please drop us a line.
