Harrow Heritage Trust

Harrow Heritage Trust perform some valuable work in maintaining the countryside in and around Harrow on a voluntary basis.  Their working parties do various jobs from the major, such as felling trees to create grassland rides, to jobs as simple as cutting back bramble from paths or picking up litter. All are useful in keeping the reserves attractive to both wildlife and people. You get some gentle exercise in pleasant surroundings. Tools are provided – just bring your lunch. Most working parties finish around 4pm, but there is no need to stay all day.

There are a number of sites that they work with, including:

The programme of works is on Saturdays or Sundays throughout 2011, and they have a calendar and further details on their website.
