Welcome to Harrow, Ma’am!

Today, following what was undoubtedly months of planning, the Queen is on her way to visit Harrow – her first return to the Borough in 50 years.

Camrose Avenue will close from 11.00 this morning, and the Royal car is due to arrive around 2.45 this afternoon, which will take a slow drive down the Avenue.

The nearest tubes to the Krishna Avanti school are Canons Park, on the Jubilee Line, or Edgware, on the Northern Line, and bus services 32, 142, 204, 251, 288, 292, 303, 33, 114 have stops within walking distance of the school.

People from all over Harrow – and beyond – will likely flock to the area today, although current advice is to get to Camrose Avenue around lunchtime.

Our friends over at the Harrow Times will be covering the event on the ground and you can follow @annajslater and @nmoneill on Twitter for moment-by-moment details of the visit, and read the latest articles here.
