Police Officers Stabbed in Kingsbury – man charged

Following Saturday’s incident (reported here and here) where four police officers were attacked, the Metropolitan Police have now announced that 32 year old Christopher Houghton charged with attempted murder, ABH, assault and affray after attack on four Metropolitan Police officers on Saturday.

Chief Superintendent Dal Babu, Harrow borough commander, said the PCs, who were stabbed in the stomach, arm and leg, were recovering from their injuries. The fourth officer, who was slashed and suffered a broken hand, was discharged from hospital on Saturday afternoon.
