53 Year Old Woman Attacked in Burnt Oak – Police Appeal

Harrow Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery that happened at 5.55 pm on Friday 23 December in Argyll Gardens, Edgware.  A 53 year old woman was walking alone, when two men approached her and one of them grabbed at her handbag. The woman fell to the ground in the attack and sustained minor injuries to her shoulder and knee. The suspects ran off empty handed towards the area of Burnt Oak Broadway. Police are looking for two black men, wearing hooded tops.

The woman had walked from Watling Avenue, Edgware, turned right into Burnt Oak Broadway, then left into the Highlands. It was as she approached the junction of Argyll Gardens that the robbery took place, at approximately 5.55 pm.
