I hope this notice has been posted on other sites as well to maximise publicity eg in Harrow Times, the Council’s web-site and also on the Safer Harrow web-site.It would be enormously useful for the public to turn up and make good use of the precious allotted slot to voice any concerns they may have.Feed-back from our peoples is vitally important in helping keep our borough the safest. This is the first time the public is being invited to voice their concerns, even if the time slot is short. It’s a good start. Please do your best to be there.Everybody is most welcome.

I am also heartened that the Harrow Safer Neighbourhood Board is working towards a regular slot,at the end of each of its meetings, for a half hour, which will definitely help promote the relationship between our diverse communities and Harrow SNB, establish rapport and build confidence.

I am quietly confident we may be able to attract some good LAY members of our community to apply to serve on their Safer Neighbourhood Board(SNB).Come and find out for yourself how it works! We need you to engage closely to be really effective.

The management committee of the SNB has listened carefully to our several requests about increasing community engagement and have responded positively. This is most helpful.

Look forward to seeing many of you in the Committee Rooms 1&2 ,at Harrow Civic Centre,on May 27.The meeting will start at 630pm sharp.

    Have a lovely Bank Holiday!
