Harrow’s Met Boxes – Give the Police Anonymous Tips

About two years ago, Harrow Police installed 18 Met Boxes across the borough. The boxes were designed t allow residents to post anonymous information about crime that the local Safer Neighbour Teams could follow up on.

Funded by public donation from business in and around the area, 17 of these are still open and in use, for the public to use.

If this is something you’d like to make use of, Harrow Police tell us that you can find these boxes at the following locations:

Pinner Memorial Park – Daisy’s Cafe
Pinner Medical Centre
Wealdstone and Marlborough SNT base
Harrow Civic Centre
St. John Fisher Church
North Harrow Library
Tesco, Headstone North ward
HAVS Centre
Roxbourne School
Tesco Rayners Lane
Sainsburys Rayners Lane
Library – Alexandra Avenue
Elmfield Church
Vaughan School
Regent Newsagent, Station Road
Churchill Court, North Harrow
Waitrose, South Harrow

We’re not sure how well used they are, but if you don’t feel happy talking to your local Safer Neighbour Teams – and they’re generally a pretty useful and helpful bunch – it may be an option worth using.
