Police Appeal: Assault in College Road, Harrow on April 28, 2013

police_lantern_2-150x150Police continue to appeal for witnesses following an assault in Harrow.

Officers were called at approximately 0115hrs on 28 April to reports of a man assaulted in Station Road, near the junction with College Road, Harrow.

London Ambulance Service also attended and a man, aged 20, was taken to a northwest London hospital for treatment to a head injury. He remains there in a critical but stable condition.

An investigation has been launched by officers from the Specialist Crime and Operations Directorate. Detective Inspector Luke Marks, who leads the investigation, said: “I would urge anyone with information about the incident to contact police, particularly those who were in the area of Station Road and College Road around 0115hrs – the time of the assault. We have spoken to some witnesses but we know from analysing CCTV that there were people who saw what happened and who have yet to come forward. I want to say to those people, and anyone else with information, that they can pass on information to us in the strictest of confidence.”
