Police seek Hospital absconder in Brent

Police are appealing for help in tracing a 28-year-old man who absconded from Central Middlesex Hospital whilst having treatment on 18 July 2012.

Edgar Landu (dob 11.08.83) was last seen at 11.50hrs on 18 July when he left his nurses while being escorted between wards at the hospital.

He had been sectioned at Belgravia Police Station after being arrested on 30 June, and transferred to Central Middlesex Hospital the same day.

Landu requires daily medication for mental health issues which he does not have in his possession. He is not known to have any money or other items on him as property was removed from him at the hospital.

He is described as black, approx 5ft 11inches tall and of stocky build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black trousers and grey trainers.

Previous behaviour indicates that Landu is a possible threat to himself as well as others.

The public are advised not to approach him and anyone with any information should call 999 immediately.
