On the weekend of July 9-10th July Roxeth Safer Neighbourhood Team participated in the Roxeth Show at Roxeth Recreation Ground. Police were on hand to offer crime prevention advice and to listen to the concerns of the local community. We had significant interest in Smartwater property marking solution (see below for further details). This event had a community and family focus and attractions included a visit from a police helicopter, a children’s carnival, a tombola, games, fairground rides, a petting zoo, dance display and a dog show. Feedback about the event has been positive and Roxeth SNT intend to have a presence at the event next year.
Smartwater is a product we offer free of charge. Every Smartwater solution is unique. We register a container of Smartwater to you and mark up your property with this. This will not be visible to the human eye but will illuminate under an ultra-violet light. Should you be the unfortunate victim of theft, the presence of Smartwater can help identify the property and it can then be returned to you. Smartwater can act as a significant deterrent to household burglary. If you are interested in having Smartwater or if you have further questions, please contact the team on the phone number or e-mail address below.
Roxeth SNT have worked in partnership with the London Borough of Harrow Council, Stadium Housing and the managing agents for the block. New locks have been fitted on the gates at the sides of the block to prevent those not living there from gaining access. We have had several reports in the past of drug usage in this area and we have worked hard to stamp this out. People living in Station Parade found the presence of strangers to be intimidating. The installation of these new locks, along with other new security measures, now makes it much harder for unwelcome visitors to gain access.
