South Harrow 11 Year Old Missing Since Friday [Update: Found Safe and Well]

[warning]Update: According to Harrow Police just over an hour ago: “We are happy to report Zakeriya Osman has been found by police. He is safe and well and is back with family.”[/warning]

An 11-year-old boy has disappeared after going out to get fast food.

Police have launched a search for Zakeriya Liban-Osman, who went missing from his London home after going out to visit a fast food restaurant at around 2pm yesterday. He was last seen by friends at the Beacon Community Centre in Harrow on Friday afternoon, but did not return home. He has never gone missing before, and his family are growing increasingly worried about him.

Zakeriya is described as a black boy with short black hair.

When he was last seen he was wearing his school uniform of black trousers, white shirt and a black blazer with a grey coat, and was carrying a black and white checked rucksack. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are now appealing for anyone with information on Zakeriya’s whereabouts to contact them, and for any of his friends who may know where he is to get in touch.

Anyone with information should call Harrow CID on 101, or call or text the charity Missing People on 116 000.
