Welldon Park Junior School’s STEM Learning Adventure – March 6, 2015

welldon_park_logoWelldon Park Junior School in South Harrow are running another of their very successful Learning Adventures at the moment, this time looking at STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

During the fortnight, they’re looking at amazing discoveries, and, say the school, “…want to inspire each other with some of the amazing discoveries from the world of STEM. We want to uncover the names of individuals who have shaped our world as we know it, to find women scientist and engineers, mathematicians and inventors from others countries and cultures. Pupils will be developing skills of resilience, collaboration, independence and evaluation.”

If you have a child at the school, you’re welcome to take a look around Friday morning. The school says, “We would love you to come and share our “Celebrating STEM” Learning Adventure. Please find time to visit school and see us in action on Friday 6th March, between 9.30am and 11.00am. You will be able to join with your own child/children and/or visit as many classes as you like. We hope to see you then.”
