Voluntary Action Harrow: Upskilling Harrow Organisations

voluntary_action_harrowVoluntary Action Harrow (VAH) have secured some funding from the Big Lottery (Awards For All) to support five Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) volunteer-led groups in Harrow to build their employability skills through coaching them through a range of organisational development areas.

“We’re really delighted to announce this new project. At a time where funding is low and demand for charitable services is increasing, support to local voluntary and community organisations can really help them grow and increase their social impact.”

The areas covered through this scheme are as follows; monitoring and evaluation, volunteer management, needs assessment, funding applications (bid writing) and marketing. VAH are currently looking for groups who fit the criteria and think they would benefit from the supporton offer.
